WHAT EXHIBITORS CAN EXPECT
The CBD Gallery is a place of learning, first and foremost. The presentations, speakers and exhibits on offer are intended to educate visitors about the market for and opportunities associated with hemp-derived CBD, both today and tomorrow – and facilitate B2B connections among Sweets & Snacks Expo attendees and cannabis-industry experts.
Who Will Attend?
Anticipated visitors to the CBD Gallery include chocolate, candy and snack retailers, brokers, distributors and suppliers to the industry. Retail attendees at Expo include candy and snack buyers, category managers, merchandisers, operations personnel, executives and store owners. See who attends. The Sweets & Snacks Expo is a trade show for the confectionery, cookie/biscuit and snack industries. The CBD Gallery is, in turn, intended to represent products that without the presence of cannabis and its derivative ingredients may be considered confectionery, cookies/biscuits, and snacks. Sweetened or unsweetened edible products are considered eligible for display, and these items must comprise 60% of merchandising and products in the booth. Sweets & Snacks Expo show management reserves the right to make the final determination regarding what items may or may not be exhibited.
Exhibitors will be encouraged to focus on sweetened and/or unsweetened edibles, but may also display other product lines, like topicals, oils, supplements and tinctures – up to 40% of booth merchandising and products. Neither vaping products nor pet products are permitted for display in the CBD Gallery, though existing literature/marketing collateral that contains information about these products is permitted.
Exhibitors must certify that none of the products to be exhibited in the CBD Gallery are marijuana and that they contain only hemp-derived CBD and contain no more than 0.3% THC on a weight basis.
Exhibitors may be asked to present a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each of the products exhibited in the booth. Failure to produce COAs may result in expulsion from the CBD Gallery.
