Connecting the Physical and Digital Shelves
Today, shoppers are seeking trusted partners to unlock solutions that meet their needs. Retailers who can deliver on ease, convenience and peace of mind will win shoppers, but a positive shopper experience is no longer limited to the in-store experience. Retailers that unlock a connected and cohesive experience in-store, via their web platforms or through a mobile app will cultivate true shopper loyalty. This session will outline how retailers and their trusted CPG partners can ensure the fundamentals of the path to purchase are in place across in-store and digital platforms with a goal to delight and satisfy each and every shopper.

Trish Mielke is the senior manager of holistic captaincy at The Hershey Company, working with retailers to bridge the physical and digital experiences. She focuses on ongoing shopper engagement by understanding and interpreting data related to the shopper’s journey both in-store and online to make strategic recommendations encompassing a variety of disciplines. Trish joined the Hershey Company in December 2019 after more than 15 years at General Mills.
