Yes, media can register at the media center.
The Sweets & Snacks Expo is a private trade show that admits only media who qualify for credentials. The National Confectioners Association (NCA) reserves the right to deny any applicant credentials. All qualified Sweets & Snacks Expo media must meet the Media Proof of Eligibility requirements for their badge type.
NCA welcomes digital media to Sweets & Snacks Expo. However, digital media applicants must meet certain guidelines that demonstrate they are posting regular, quality content about the sweets and snacks industry. NCA will determine the qualifying frequency and quality of the posts. See Media Proof of Eligibility.
Media badges are for “working media” who are covering the show for a recognized media outlet. Individuals in public relations, marketing or advertising must register for an attendee badge.
Sweets & Snacks Expo requires individual unique email addresses for attendees, exhibiting personnel and media. This allows each Sweets & Snacks Expo badge holder to utilize and customize the online show planner and the show's mobile app and receive timely Sweets & Snacks communications. The use of unique email addresses also will help us to identify non-qualified attendees.
All media who have been approved for credentials will be able to pick up their credentials at the media center located in room 140-141 on level 1. They can also pick up at any of the scan and go locations throughout the convention center.
A photo ID is required to pick up your media badge. You are not allowed to pick up credentials for colleagues.
