The Sweets & Snacks Expo is where the industry gathers for inspiration and innovation. To help exhibitors highlight their newest and most innovative products, the Sweets & Snacks Expo has two special programs to showcase these products to retailers before they hit the show floor.
Featured Products Showcase
Formerly known as the New Products Showcase, the Featured Products Showcase has been extended to feature selected products from exhibitors. A popular stop for buyers before they walk the show floor, the Featured Products Showcase is the perfect place to highlight new products, line extensions, packaging and more.
Before the Sweets & Snacks Expo begins, information and photos from the Featured Products Showcase will be available in the Show Planner, giving buyers the chance to plan to their booth visits.
During the show, the Featured Products Showcase is located in a central location in the lobby and allows customers to scan product information to receive an email with more information about the company and the product, driving booth traffic during the show.
After the show, exhibitors will receive a list of the customers that scanned the product, giving information about highly-qualified prospects and leads for buyers who have expressed interest in the product.
Most Innovative New Product Awards
The Most Innovative New Product Awards program showcases the most innovative ideas, concepts and products in two of the hottest categories in the store – candy and snacks! The awards recognize products in 11 distinct categories, including Best in Show and Small Business Innovator.
All submissions are reviewed and rated by an elite panel of top retailers, distributors and industry food experts that represent 85% of the buying power in the U.S. confectionery and snack industries, as well as international representation.
Submitted products will be featured in an on-site display located in the lobby of McCormick Place, with company name and booth number noted. Winners will be showcased in a special display, a popular stop for buyers before they visit the show floor.
