Industry experts invited to share insights, research, and strategies shaping the future of confectionery and snacks
WASHINGTON — Sweets & Snacks Expo is inviting industry experts and thought leaders to submit proposals to speak at the 2027 show and Supplier Showcase, bringing timely insights, new research, and practical strategies to confectionery and snack industry leaders.
The 2027 Sweets & Snacks Expo will take place May 18–20 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, with Supplier Showcase on May 17–18. The event brings together retailers, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, brokers, and other decision-makers from across the confectionery and snack industries.
For Sweets & Snacks Expo education sessions, the show is seeking experts who can help attendees better understand consumers, navigate a changing marketplace, and identify opportunities for growth. Potential topics include consumer and category trends, shopper behavior, the evolving retail landscape, AI, merchandising, e-commerce and social commerce, innovation, and emerging marketplace trends.
For Supplier Showcase education sessions, proposals should focus on the issues and innovations shaping how confectionery and snack products are made, packaged, and delivered. Topics may include ingredients, packaging, manufacturing and operations, supply chain, technology, and other innovations affecting the industry.
Strong proposals should provide actionable takeaways, original thinking, research, or real-world examples rather than a sales pitch. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to share their expertise with industry decision-makers and receive promotion of their sessions to more than 50,000 industry contacts before, during, and after the show.
Speaker proposals for both Sweets & Snacks Expo and Supplier Showcase are due Friday, October 16, 2026.
